The charming original front porch structure has been added on several times.  The new owners wanted to create a better flow while centralizing an open Kitchen. The warm wood floors throughout expanded the space and dissolved boundaries. In the Kitchen the prominence of an old fireplace is balanced off with a commercial range on the opposite side of the room.   The bright Carrera marble backsplash was selected for its unusual raised relief diamond pattern and is complimented by the large chandelier over the farmhouse breakfast table.
