For this relaxing weekend home in the woods, the open plan was treated as one large room.   When you enter, the foyer immediately suggests an eclectic mix of modern and country.  The checkerboard slate floor and vintage poster are mixed with a modern bench and lighting.   An oak and glass railed catwalk overhead is the only thing separating you from the main living and dining room. In order to create a little privacy for the guest bedroom hallway, a curved oak and milk glass wall was installed.
